Department of Justice names Special Council to investigate the January 6 insurrection and handing of classified documents by D.J. Trump

 

DOJ announced today the signing of the order of naming a Special Council, who’s role is to investigates the potential crimes regarding former President Donald Trump regarding January 6, 2021 Capitol insurrection. Moreover the investigation will also look into the classified documents that Department of Justice found at former president’s residence in Florida. 

This nomination is to potentially separate the investigation from politics.
