The Rebelled Body Plays is a collection of three plays: Mia; Suicidal Dog and Laika; and Three as in Tri-Angle, or the Aftertastes of Life. The same plays appeared in the author's native language, Romanian, last year. Mia is a play about femininity in the aftermath of breast cancer. Suicidal Dog and Laika is Catalina's most staged play, with professional readings done in New York directed by Marcy Arlin and Olga Levina, respectively; at Jersey City Theater Center, director Olga Levina; and in London, director Leo Bacica. Finally, Three as in Tri-Angle, or the Aftertastes of Life started as an invitation to a workshop on Masculinities at the Urban Theater in New York. The play presents the vulnerable side of masculinity.
